Lets meet the Instructors

About the Chief Instructor:

The chief instructor at Lake Norman Tae Kwon Do America (LNTKD) is Phuoc Dang. He has recently earned his Master Level of 6th Degree Senior Black Belt on September 26, 2008 in Gatlinberg, Tn. He has been a student of Tae Kwon Do since 1989, and a nationally certified instructor since 1993. He opened LNTKD in the summer of 1995 at The Academy of Dance Arts in Mooresville, NC. Within 6 months, the growth of the school allowed us to relocate to 136 Stutts Rd. Mooresville, NC. For 14 years we have flourished and continued to grow. Because of the traffic and the growth of the community we are happy to announce our scheduled move to 132 Joe V. Knox Blvd. Mooresville, NC 28117 behind the Williamson Post office on January 1, 2005.

Since our opening, approximately 14 years ago, LNTKD is the most established Tae Kwon Do school in Mooresville. We offer the best martial arts instruction in the area. Time and time again, we are told by the families of our students how much improvement they have seen in our students in and out of class. The school offers classes five days a week for both children and adults. There is an instructor in every class at all times. There are matted floors, focus pads, heavy bags, rebreakable boards, and other martial arts equipment. There is a separate viewing area for parents. LNTKD sponsors demonstrations in the community, after school programs, and other local events. Please call to schedule a free demonstration.

At LNTKD, in addition to learning Tae Kwon Do, students will learn self-defense, anger management, goal setting skills, and many other positive attributes. Students will also improve self-esteem, physical fitness, discipline, flexibility, and stamina. Parents are strongly encouraged to be involved in their child's progress at LNTKD.

The school is a member of a nationally recognized Tae Kwon Do organization, Tae Kwon Do America. Tae Kwon Do America sponsors tournaments four times a year, annual camps, and seminars. Lake Norman Tae Kwon Do serves students from Mooresville, Iredell, Statesville, Sherrills Ford, Huntersville, Davidson, Cornelius, Charlotte and surrounding areas.
